I read somewhere else (not PC) how someone else is allergic to all the many psych meds they have tried

Apparently a GP said they were in the unlucky 3 percent... "Sorry"....

I do not care for the thought of invasive tests even if these would be offered, I currently have a GP who appears to give a crap (I'm in the U.K.)

But I would rather be "med free" - my body has screamed at me repeatedly it will not tolerate SSRIs, SNRIs, seroquel etc

I feel so alone in this

But I will "get by"

And maybe I'll even thrive
(Especially in the 100 acre wood ...)

I'm sorry.

I've wondered, when people say they're "allergic" to psych meds, do they mean like an actual specific reaction similar to allergies to any med, or are they referring to the med just generally making them feel like crap? I've never had anything like a severe reaction, but almost every psych med I've taken seems to make me feel like crap. Pretty much all SSRIs and SNRIs I've tried have tended to make me just feel sicker and sicker and like my body is almost rejecting them until I stop...
