Hey, everyone.

So, I was prescribed Latuda after being admitted to a mental hospital back in early June. My symptoms have ranged from being nauseous, drowsy, worsening low blood pressure (especially when standing), heavy anxiety, and heavy sedation. I have stuck with the medications for several reasons despite it all.

There is only one issue that bothers me now: My period is absolutely late, and I fear it may not come at all. I am unsure what to do since I have always been on time (On average, two days late or early).

Does anyone else take Latuda and has experienced anything I described above?

By the way, all my medications have been increased since early June; from Lamictal (100mg to 200mg) to Gabapentin (900mg to 1800mg, switched to ER). I am, for now, taking things easy while my body adjusts to it all, but it seems Latuda's immediate symptoms such as nausea will never fade. Ugh.

Hi,

I am in my third week of Latuda.

Are you taking the Latuda with food?

I had severe nausea this morning and it's the firs time. It's also the only time I did not take it with food. The manufacturer suggests it is taken with at least 350 calories for max absorption.

I have not noticed the other symptoms you have mentioned.

Be well.

Yeah, I take it every day with food. Sadly my nausea kicked in hard the other day, and I could not hold down my dinner. I hope it clears up soon, though.

Sorry that you have nausea too.

I'm not on Latuda anymore, but sometimes I would get nausea on random days even when I had been on the medication for several months. I think I ate junk food or fatty food those times, which caused gastric reflux. Then I felt nauseous. (I can't even handle fatty food in general, but I ate like fried chicken or something.)

It's really important to eat healthy -- or at least I think so anyways. What did you eat?
