Hi,
I eat dinner (400 to 600 calories) around 8 p.m. I need to take Seroquel XR 200mg every night. What time gap should I maintain between dinner and Seroquel? I read somewhere on the web that the gap should be 2 hours. But it will be 10 p.m. before I can take Seroquel and after that it takes another 1 to 2 hours for me to feel sleepy. I am not able to getup in the morning because I am sleeping around 11:30 p.m. I tried early dinner but because of kids and other factors I am finding it difficult to maintain. I usually have high bad cholesterol, triglycerides and a1c. |

Hi, amt386, and welcome to Psych Central! If I were you, then I wouldn't worry about any gap. You're not eating many calories anyway. Taking it right after dinner would be okay, I think. But I also think you should ask your doctor or a pharmacist to be sure.
