I am taking 300mg for PTSD. I am also taking the birth control pill hence my dose is 300mg because of that. It would be lower if I were not. I want to lower my dose but my nurse does not want me to until the end of the month after I have dealt with my legal and medical appointments and my daughter's medical appointments.

I primarily experience dizziness.

I am treating it with nutrients and herbs as per the recommendations for vertigo in the 3rd edition of prescription for nutritional healing.

I have also gotten back into essentials oils and am currently working with cedar wood, pine, lavender and just got clove and rosemary today.

I am also getting back into crystals, currently I am working with malachite, amethyst, rose quartz, obsidian, moonstone, onyx, blue agate, turquoise and a couple of other ones I want to confirm the spelling on as well.

I am also starting to use binaural beats and ASMR.

My goal is to reduce my dose of lamotrigine at the end of the month, but only if my nurse allows me to.

I have been taking the same dose for a decade.

This month my stress level increased more then I have dealt with in a decade.

I also take seroquel to sleep. Its not an option not to right now as I will not sleep more then 3 hours without it.

your the costumer, your nurse works for you. You decide whether or not you want to be on lamotrigine. If you want to get off lamotrigine I Suggest you tell your nurse you want off the drug. There is a risk of having seizures when abruptly discontinuing lamotrigine. so ask nurse to taper you off. And by the way, lamotrigine is not indicated for PTSD. it's a mood stabilizer.
Thanks for this!

I know what lamotrigine is indicated for, and I already told my nurse I think I need to lower my dose. Today I am doing fine. I've been on it for 10 years, I know the side effects and risks.

I do agree the nurse should listen to you more. I have vertigo too.

She is an excellent nurse. I think my doctor may be right, emotional stress is causing physical sensations . I can't stand it!
