Hi all,

I've been taking 200mg Lamictal and 5mg Buspar 2x daily.

I got Bronchitis (have had it for 2 weeks now) and finally went to the doc yesterday and got antibiotics, Clarithromycin (500mg 2x daily) I also saw my pdoc yesterday and she told me to stop Buspar and start Lexapro (I used to take Lexapro for 3 years and it worked well for me)

Last night I had the worst night of my life—I took my Lamictal, Buspar, Lexapro and the antibiotic. I know I prob shouldn't have taken the Buspar, but I was feeling so anxious I did anyways.

Cue the extreme nausea for 6 hours. Insomnia. Shaking, sweating, couldn't even open my eyes or move. I probably should have thrown up but I have a phobia and have only thrown up twice as a kid, so I willed myself not to for 6 hours.

Tonight, I have to take the antibiotic again. And the Lamictal (no big deal) ...but the Lexapro. I don't remember getting this nauseous taking it in the past...then again I started 3 years ago and my memory is the worst.

Does anyone have experience with 10mg Lexapro and antibiotics?

Hmm, that's weird. Sometimes meds can affect you differently the second time around. Lexapro caused a lot of nausea for me, maybe that mixed with antibiotics being hard on your stomach was just too much? This might be obvious advice, but definitely try eating something with the antibiotic if you didn't last night, it might help even a little.
Good luck, hope it works out better this time.
