My teeth have gotten so bad from my lamictal. I brush my teeth floss and use mouthwash twice a day and I have had 10 cavities since May. I said before I would rather have teeth issues then hunger issues but this is taking a toll on me emotionally and financially. I'm going to try not to go on anything new. My doctor is frustrated not at me but that I have severe reactions to most meds. The reason I was on the lamictal is because Lithium was damaging my kidneys. And now I have to be taken off this one because my teeth are being destroyed. I take Geodone Propalonal and Seasonsanale for PMDD and they work fine. I have gotten off my Ativan and Visteral most recently because I became very angry on them. Does anyone else feel better without meds then on them?

Hi, Bozdickens, and welcome to Psych Central! I had to go off Lamictal because my body was overdosed with it over time and I was having neurological symptoms. I am on Tegretol now.
