Is it normal to get blurry vision when stopping Klonopin (or Effexor and Geodon)? It seems like ever since I stopped taking Klonopin 3 weeks ago my eyesight is getting worse and sometimes it gets really blurry to where I have to rub my eye constantly to clear it. It seems like my vision has decreased as i can't read things from far away anymore. Is this temporary?

Hey, apples_. How fast are you withdrawing? I did a very, very slow taper, so I didn't have many withdrawal symptoms, no blurry vision at all. I don't see it as a withdrawal effect when I google the effects. I suggest you see a doctor about it and/or talk to your prescriber.

I hope it clears up soon!

Anything is possible with benzo withdrawal, including blurry vision. Of course, checking with your doctor is wise. Did you stop taking the Klonopin too quickly?

The blurry vision might not be because of the knlonopin withdraw. Best bet is to check with your primary care doctor. They will be able to diagnose your problem.
