I am gradually weaning myself of my meds. I spoke with my Pdoc last week and he agreed that I should come off my meds. I have always felt that my meds are not working.

It's always nice to have a Pdoc agree with you. I too am coming off all meds. The only one remaining is Ziprasidone which after four months of tapering I'm down to 20mg daily. Figure another month of this and I'll be off completely. The withdrawals from this are still terrible even on a slow taper though.

The least required for optimal, overall treatment, the better. There are a lot of American pdocs that like to use up their script pad for various reasons and some not so ethical. We all have talked about that issue. It is like finding any Dr. or health care professional. You have to separate the wheat from the chaff.
