Hey everyone
i started taking citalopram five months ago and i have now tried four other antidepressants in addiction to citalopram but no one works. I have tried brintellix, anafranil, wellbutrin and effexor but nothing works. Citalopram is the only antidepressants that works for me but i have now reached the maximum dosis (60mg) but its not enough for me to feel good. I am trying to find another antidepressants that works in addiction to citalopram. Can someone suggest me something? Is anyone of you taking citalopram and another antidepressant?
Thank you so much

Are you aware that citalopram is an SSRI?

I was on Citralopram until I started seeing a new pdoc. He put me on Venlaxophine. My request. Thought targetting both norephenephrine and dopamine would help lift my depression It kind of did but I the Citralopram really helped my OCD. Can't tell if you're diagnosed with OCD. However with Venlaxophine targetting two neurotransmitters it very well could help. Good luck to you.

Because your thread title is "citalopram-ssri combination".
