Just got samples of Requip from my Dr. for Depression and Anxiety. Anyone else taking this? How does it work for you? Any complaints?

My sister in law takes it for RLS (restless leg syndrome).

Hmmm...must have an off label use for mental health. Let me know how it works out

I've never heard of it for depression and anxiety, only RLS. I have RLS, but not often enough to take RLS. (P***es me off that some people don't believe RLS is real, but that's another topic.)

I have a friend with RLS. Apparently Requip is also used for Parkinson's disease. I'm only up to .5 mg. On .25 I actually couldn't sleep - I woke up every 2 hours. That stopped on .5 mg. It doesn't make me sleepy and I thought it would. I'm still going through periods of depression during the day - but they may be valid reactions to sad happenings. I think the anxiety and depression are getting a little better - but it's been less than a week - so ...

Hey - just to let you all know in case you try the same thing - this seems to be working really well for my anxiety and depression so far. I've been feeling really good taking it. Only one thing, and I don't know if it is the drug - I have a harder time falling asleep.
