I had some wicked side effects on Lamictal the first time I was on, when I went from 150mg to 200mg. I had cognitive difficulties and vertigo (yeah VErtigo).
It sucked. I could not walk down a flight of stairs! I quit taking it. Started on it again like 2 months ago, but was to stay at 150mg. I quit again though, it was making my skin all gross. Gee, do you think my doctor loves me or what...

Hey...
I've been on lamictal for about 2 years now, maybe longer. I take 300mg! At first I never felt that stable emotionally in years. It doesn't help with mania and that's been an issue lately. I never had side effects except sleepiness, so i take it at night. one of my pdoc's called it the miracle drug because he saw so many positive effects. I heard that it's either great of horrible. If we could just find the right cocktail...
I wish you the best my friend,
dorsey

I'm up to 200...low side effects...tend to agree that it doesn't help much with mania...spent a bit too much money in the last 30 days...oh well...

We talked before about the all over pain are you still expereincing any of that?

i do have one positive bit of news. it no longer effects me sexually. how is everyone else doing in that "arena">>>>>> Up to 100mg of Lamictal.....ugh
