The manufacture of Nardil will be discontinued by Phizer this month. I get my Nardil free thru their free program for low income & about two months ago I got a letter from Phizer that Nardil will no longer be manufactured by them after 12/2016.
I believe they are the only manufacturer. SAD day for those of us who have found only Nardil that addresses our depression and social phobia.

Don't know what to try when it is gone. Parnate? (if that is still available)

Hello glrizzz: Thanks for the "heads-up"... hope you find a workable replacement. I take it there will not be a generic equivalent available. This appears to be your first Thread here on PC. So... welcome to PsychCentral… from the Skeezyks! I hope you find the time you spend here to be of benefit.

PsychCentral is a great place to get information as well as support for mental health issues. There are many knowledgeable & caring members here. The more you post, & reply to other members’ posts, the more a part of the community you will become. Plus there are social groups you can join & chat rooms where you’ll be able to connect with other PC members in real time (once your first 5 posts have been reviewed & approved.) Lots of great stuff! So please keep posting!

That is not good. According to this there is another company that makes it, so it should be available, but I don't know the cost.

Parke Davis sold their rights to Phizer long ago. Your link is from 1982. They are out of the Nardil business & have been for many years.

It shows which companies got approved and when.

Novel Labs got an approval to sell it in 2010 as the web page states so if Novel is in fact selling it, Nardil is available. You could call a pharmacy and inquire.

Not to be pedantic but that page is not from 1982, the web didn't exist then.

Also perhaps Erfa Canada Inc and Greenstone LLC.
