Over the decades I've been on at least 35 medications. I can't even recall all the names of them.

I'm going to crazymeds.com now too...
I did notice that many people are prescribed or tried many of the same drugs. That gave me a good feeling that at least my current Dr. seems to be knowledgeable with Bipolar drugs because I am new to Bipolar and wasn't sure about meds being given to me. __________________ "I'm not crazy, I'm just a little unwell" (My girlfriend had this ringtone for my phone calls...lol) Bipolar 1 Anxiety Current Medications: Lorazepam Zoloft Abilify Gabapentin |

At 18 I started out on olanzapine for psychosis. It knocked me for six, put on weight, couldn't hold down a job
21 - Took an overdose, was fed up of feeling suffocated by me possessive ex, and depression clung to me all the time. Put on quetiapine 24 - Cut down my meds on own cause couldn't get it out my head when my parents kept saying something was wrong with me. so I tried to prove ppl wrong. Big mistake. Quetiapine increased. Passed out many times at home, once on sunny day waiting for bus. But I persevered. 26 - Went awol. Found standing above dual carriageway on ledge. Tried ripseridone - not strong enough, not enough sedative (begged to go back on quet, doc said it wasn't treating illness) chlozopine -didn't agree with me, nearly died aripiprazole - never worked Respiridone again ECT - Helped alleviate that stubborn fog of depression and melancholia Back on Quetiapine and added anti - depressants I added olanzapine at night myself and I feel ok stopped taking daytime arapiprazole for mood as olanzapine has built up in my system. I want to say that some anti-psychotics are very strong but sometimes you have to get used to them and its worth it |

Prozac (which I stopped, it made me feel like I was on meth all the time)
Citalopram & Fluvoxamine (which I also stopped because they made me feel like I was on meth, kept me awake for 4-5 days at a time. Seroquel (still take it but I've had the dose altered a few times Lexapro (stopped taking it because it made me feel sick all the time) Valium Neulactil Epilim (sodium valproate) Chlorpromethazine (for sedation while I was hospitalised) Latuda Edit: Oxazepam ... I think that's all I've tried |
