Hi,

It's my understanding that those of us who take or who have taken antidepressants (whether they're for depression, anxiety, depression with anxiety, or something else) generally need to give the medications at least a few weeks before getting a good idea about how they're going to affect us over a longer period of time. I don't doubt that you're noticing some changes one day into your Pristiq trial, but most likely, how the medication will affect you a few weeks in is going to be different from how the medication's affecting you now. It might turn out to be the case that using some other treatment in addition to the Pristiq that you're taking and any other treatments that you might be utilizing will be something that you'll benefit from, but I'd recommend holding off on thinking much about whether or not you might want to try additional antidepressants until you get a better idea about how Pristiq is going to affect you.

I wish you luck with your Pristiq trial and with your treatment more generally.
