Anybody ever get where they want to do something bad that doesn't go away? It's dark thoughts that last for weeks. What are good meds for it? Thanks!

Well... dark thoughts are the Skeezyks' permanent companions... sort-of like shadows that follow one around 24/7. I don't know about med's that are good for it. I'm no longer on med's. I've been on a few different antidepressants, plus a few other psych med's, for periods of time over the years. I never found them to be particularly helpful for the most part. Perhaps other members will have some suggestions to offer...

Hi,

Do you have any idea what might be causing the dark thoughts that you've been having? If you think that there's something causing your dark thoughts that can be addressed, then it might be the case that addressing the potential causes of your dark thoughts would be more likely to bring about some improvement than anything else. Talking to a professional about your dark thoughts might also be a good idea, especially if the thoughts are very dark, and if the dark thoughts are related to depression, antidepressants might be an option to look at, as far as medications are concerned.

I hope that you'll find at least some of what I've written here to be of some help, and I wish you luck with everything.
