My seroquel recently stopped working for sleep ( on account of increased anxiety from prozac which i started two weeks before) and the doc added a 0.25mg of kolonopin to be taken at night along with seroquel 25mg, which works. A friend of mine mentioned that she's concerned about the combination of these two meds. said i should check for any possible interactions. So i was wondering if anybody else is taking the same combination. or have any advice on this matter.

I take both meds, athough at much higher doses. I take 200 mg of seroquel at night along with 2 mg of Klonopin. I haven't had any issues with interactions.

Anybody take seroquel and Kolonopin for insomnia?
Thanks for this!

I take Seroquel and Klonopin together. Not unusual at all.
Thanks for this!

I'm also on Seroquel and Klonopin, although the doses I'm on are much higher and taken with other meds. I do sort of remember when I first started Seroquel on a lower dose though. It's a common combination. My pdoc said Klonopin can increase the drowsiness of Seroquel, and it has done that for me from time to time, where I will notice feeling more of a hangover effect in the morning. Nothing too troublesome though.
Thanks for this!

I take Seroquel in the evening, but not for that reason. The sleep achieved from it is a bonus as I used to use Ambien for sleep at night until I was able to achieve better sleep patterns, though I find that if I take Seroquel too late at night, I feel groggy the following evening.

I have used Klonopin before, but again, not for that particular reason. It was more for anxiety and not for the use of sleep. In any case, I did not use it too often because I was afraid of tolerance and dependence, something that one should watch out for when using a benzodiazepine such as Klonopin for long periods of time.
