Three pills in the morning, four more at night.
Don't you ever just feel trapped by it, as though you want to stop, and technically could, but knowing that there will be backlash in the form of either symptoms, or disapproving doctors. Does any other soul on this earth feel drained by this constant need to rely on this pills pay for them, and most of all, about their effects on your system... how they just cause strain- may be in the form of drowsiness, dehydration, weight gain, nausea, shaking, headaches, constipation... does it ever just drive you to fury? I imagine a day where I can just wake up and be myself, be whatever I want to be and do as a please without the small reminders of the drugs plaguing me in the form of side-effects. I imagine, hope and dream about such a day. (I don't usually rant like this- so forgive the very dramatic post)

I've kind of made peace with taking meds - but I do feel sad about the negative side-effects...weight gain and cognitive impairment.

I do get tired of all the pills. I am in poor health and take 15 different meds (only 2 are psych meds) and at times it can be very draining. I put up with it because I learned my lesson the hard way when a few years ago I stopped taking most of my meds and very nearly died. Now I accept it as part of life and try not to get too frustrated.

Yes, I get tired of the side effects and costs but know what I face without them and that worries me more.

I remember trying all these meds with unbearable side effects and doctors thinking that I can live with that. But I am lucky, the meds I take now have very few side effects. I wish it could be like that for everyone.

I don't get side effects from my meds. But I do get tired of the whole process. Buying them, sorting them, adding them to my pill box, remembering to take them, bringing them with me The whole process is tiring but I know life without them so I'll take tiring.

I hear you. This whole mental illness ordeal feels like being dealt a really sh*tty hand that we're stuck with for life.

I don't have a pill box and I take most meds at night so I just pop this and that into my mouth. Sometimes I have to spit them out before swallowing because I forgot which ones I took and did not take... It's not a biggie but it makes me sigh. And yes I swallow all pills in one go because after a while you get talented that way.
