A lot of websites mentioned this really scary side effect ( that can and actually have led to amputation in certain cases) that people need to look out for especially when taking trazadone. Im real interested in hearing from guys who have used or are still using it. Have any one experienced this weird side effect?

Priapism is a very, very rare side-effect. If it happens, go to the emergency department of your local hospital and they will give you a medication to reverse the side-effect.

The story of "amputation" is a myth.
Thanks for this!

i dunno. I declined trazadone when my psychiatrist at the time mentioned it. She tried to downplay it, but she was all "because of this 'informed consent' thing, I have to tell you..." and went on about the priapism risk. I asked for something else, so she gave me ambien.
Thanks for this!
