I wouldn't touch Doxepin and taking it alone is bad. Trazadone I don't know depending if your taking another med with it check for interactions.

I use Doxepin and it works for me. I am trying to lower the dose to find the right one that will let me sleep but not be groggy in the morning. Trazodone made me sick so I couldn't take it.

Never tried the first one, but trazadone was always a guaranteed sleep for me. Just watch the dosage if you are someone who needs to get up in the middle of the night.

Doxepin works for me, But low dose or I flip into Mania
