Hi eyesclosed, It's so frustrating to be taken off a med and put on a different med that doesn't work. How long have you been on the Rexulti? Is it possible that you need more time on it?

This is the 4th week and I had to wait a week after the end. It's also only .5 mg but I also at the same time the doc reduced alprazolam from 2mg to1mg and a month before that reduced aderall from 60mg to 40. I don't sleep well.
Thanks for this!

I am on 2.0 of Rexulti and I really like it. It lifted a serious depression in 4 days. BUT, it is terribly expensive. We are limping by by getting samples from two different docs.

yeah that's a high dose and I may have to go up a little. I'm sorry your insurance must be different. I pay the same for each medicine. I know some use coupons have you looked into that?

I am on Medicare and none of the companies let you use coupons for that. They also don't let you apply for free or reduced medicine. I don't understand why, after all, it's not as though people on Medicare are rich!

Lilypup-I get exempted into several programs for patient assistance even though I"m on Medicare and sometimes make a few hundred dollars too much and include it with the application. I just write a note about the drug cost being a financial hardship and they approve it. I've done this with a number of drugs over several years and none have said no. It might be worth a try.
