I don't know what else to do. I'm f***ing ANGRY. My psychiatrist hasn't responded to repeated messages and requests from myself and my pharmacy for a refill. It's been a week and we keep getting told by the office staff that they're still working on it. WTF does that mean??? I called to get refills a week before I was going to run out, and now, guess what? I am completely out !!! This is for 2 medications, but luckily I had an old prescription for a higher dose of one of them, so now I'll have extras left over. For my other med, by the time I can do anymore follow up, I will have missed 3 doses. I could go to the office, but I don't know if that doctor is there other than Saturday, which is the only day available to make appointments with him. It's not like I don't see him. I have an upcoming appointment, but I need a refill NOW. Great, now I'm gonna stress more and lose sleep over this.

Ugh, how very frustrating. Here's what I suggest you do: Go into your doctor's office in person. Walk in there are explain to the receptionist what is going on.

I agree with *Laurie*, but also...
I don't know if you live in the U.S., but if you do, you can always request for the prescription to be printed out on paper instead of having your psychiatrist send it in electronically. Then there's no guessing whether or not your psychiatrist sent the prescription in. You'll have it in your hands and you can decide if/when you want the medication filled. That may be your best option at this point. Good luck! |

"sometimes" a pharmacy can offer a 3 day supply if waiting on your Doctor and office staff to get there shyt together I needed this once for invega. They cant do it if it is a scheduled med of course.
I hope you get your meds quickly
