Hi i need a rx sleep medication that is not habiting fomating or something that makes you sleepy that is over the counter an suggestions

Rozerem is known to help one fall asleep and does not cause dependence.

If not falling asleep, then hydroxyzine.

Melatonin.
I take 10mg of it and finally get good sleep most nights

That's a good point. Most melatonin comes in 3 mg which really isn't enough. It's harder to find the 10mg but worth it.

melatonin is a good one. the 10mgs dose has been found in some small studies to help people with tardive dyskinesia, sometimes considerably.

l-theanine (I'd personally go for the "Suntheanine" brand, that's what I take and it helps me...), taurine, valerian, kava kava (unless you're loaded up on drugs and/or have liver issues...), passion flower, lemon balm. With the natural substances, many people end up mixing things to get the effect they're after. so, some valerian+passion flower+melatonin, for instance...that kinda thing.

Some anithistamines induce drowsiness.
