Ok,
I'm suppose to take 300 mg BUPROPION every morning but I found this to be too high of a dose.
I also need to take it with 20mg of ritalin twice a day.

I've read that some patients take 2 150 mg twice daily.

Has anyone spaced out their doses?
If so, obviously one 150 mg is taken in the morning but when will the latest second 150 mg can be taken?
At bedtime?

Thanks in advance.
Hugs from:

When my daughter was on that she took her morning dose about 7 am and her evening dose about 7pm. Also - you can't split the extended release ones if you have the 300 mg tablets. You probably know that, just being sure.

Thank you
But the evening dose will not interrupt your sleep?

I'm not sure about that. My daughter has always been a night owl. I didnt see a significant change in her sleep at 300 mg. she was also on abilify too.

I used to believe that the SR version was better than the XL version
But that is all in my head.
In fact, it is more convenient and cost effective.

Thank you.

I take 450 mg of Bupropion a day. I take 3 pills together at the same time at various times of the day. My psychiatrist said that's fine. It's never impacted my sleep. Best wishes.
Thanks for this!

At doses above 300 mg what have you noticed most?
Increase of well being?
More motivation?

When I took Buproprion, I took it divided 150 am, the second dose at 12:00, no later than 1:00 or I didn't sleep at night.

Bupropion SR I had the same issues as Bupropion, it did not last, though it was supposed to and had to also take it in divided dosages, am and noon.

I currently take Bubpropion XL and have for decades. I take 300 mg in the am; it lasts all day, more level, and does not interfere at night. I really like only having to take it once a day. There are rare times I have had to go up to 450 mg and I can still take it all in the am, which is super nice.

Increased well being and increased energy (although I think sometimes it causes my anxiety).

I also take 450mg of bupropion all together in the morning, and it's never been an issue. I'm not sure of how well it works anymore, but I'm very hesitant to go off it because it helped so much in the past.
Thanks for this!

I tried to go off Bupropion and went into a severe depression pretty quickly.
Thanks for this!

That happened to me a couple of years ago.
After being on it for 2 years, I thought I no longer needed it.
Without even realizing it, I slowly sunk into the most depressed state I had ever experienced.
I couldn't even get out of bed.
So I went back on it.
I'm responding well, so far and thankfully.
