Just started this med about a week before. Wanted to know if this side effect will go away or atleast become more manageable after some time?

I am also a week in with straterra and it is not having that effect on me. Absolutely not; I have tiptoed into the bathroom a few times this week. But that seems to be the bizarre way it is with head med side effects - may cause weight gain or loss of appetite; lower sexual desire but see your doctor for an erection lasting 4 hours or more...
