I tried it for about 5 months and it did nothing for me. I had no side effects either and went up to 20mg before my psych took me off it.

I've been on it for a year. I've taken multiple antidepressants and trintellix is the only medicine that has worked this well. I still have my dips but they don't last as long and are not as low as previous episodes. That being said, I started on 10 mg and have since moved to 20mg and my doc just added wellbutrin back to the mix after a really bad episode I just got out of, but we are thinking with the season change and holidays it was bound to happen and it's the first bad one in quite a while. I've been really off balance lately and I've had vision issues which I believe can be side effects but I can't attribute those issues to the med specifically. I haven't had any other side effects like weight gain or headaches.
Overall, I feel like I've made more progress with this then any other meds I've taken. Good luck! |

I'm currently taking Trintellix for the first two months I was on an ultra low dose, only 5mg. Last week it was bumped up to 10mg so far I think it's helping, though I don't like the idea of going back on an Antidepressant after years of not being on one. And I'm on a very low dose because I have a history of Self Injury, and all of these incidents happened when I was on a Antidepressant, but that is just me so I wouldn't worry about it if you have a history with Antidepressant and no issues with SI.
I think it has been helping in some areas, and no real side effects so far. __________________ “If we could change ourselves, the tendencies in the world would also change.
