About 1-2 weeks ago I switched from Pristiq 50mg to cymbalta 60mg. There was no tapering or transition, just switched.
I felt like pristiq was working great but due to financial reasons I had to switch to something that was available in generic form.
There were no harsh side effects like I expected, just one side effect that I'm unsure of.
I'm suddenly really emotional!! Not as in crying or upset, just that I feel my emotions are coming back. I suddenly feel the urge to message old friends, I feel the love returning to my relationship with my husband that I haven't felt in quite some time.
Is this maybe just a side effect from the switch? Or could this be that pristiq had made me cold and I not realized it!?

Anybody else experienced anything like this?

Haven't experienced this myself but I would talk to your doctor if I were you.
