Currently on Bupropion XL 300 for about 2+ years. Been on and off Xanax for the past couple years as needed, but now currently taking 1mg a night for about 3 months now. Feel great. Depression feels like a distant memory. No more panic attacks. Feels almost even kinda weird to be not plagued anymore by my emotions and fears.

But I'm starting to see faces. You know how when you look at smudges or clouds, and when you look long enough, you can make-believe images out of them or start to see features that you associate with real things. What I'm seeing now is sort of like that. Except it's instant. I look over at something with a texture or pattern and immediately see a face. And I look away and see another face. And it is very very very detailed. This goes on for a few minutes then I'm back to normal. Doesn't happen often. Maybe once every couple days for a couple weeks now.

None of this is scary. But it's new... and it's weird... and I don't know what to make from it.

It's called pareidolia. I get that too when I look at marble tiles.

Some drugs can cause that, so you might call your prescriber.
