I originally posted this question in the bipolar forum, but I realize I should of posted it here. So my question is does meds like lithium and seroquel or any psych med effect your brain capacity or functioning in any negative way. I seem to be having a lot of dull brain moments and brain fog, also I find it hard to think critically and creativity. It has caused me to have confidence issues and is hindering me in a way that I know I can overcome but is just making it a bit difficult for me. Any input would be great thanks!

In my experience psych meds do cause cognitive impairment. This is especially true of benzos and the more sedating meds.
Thanks for this!
