As if it was cheese. Mushy.

I have been taking Lyrics everyday for PTSD and the so called psychotic experience, I fee dumb. I am taking less than prescribed, only 75mg a day.

ive never taken lyrica, but ive read that it can cause some cognitive slowing. long term use at high(ish) doses requires a taper, should treatment be discontinued. Here in the US, its Schedule V, so its lightly controlled, I suppose.

i do have an ongoing prescription for neurontin, which I rarely take. Wow. Even low doses of the stuff throw my brain for a loop. I do --not-- know how people make it thru on full doses of the stuff, especially when there are other drugs involved. To be fair, I would think/assume that taking it for shingles and neuropathy would be different than psychiatric indications.

I doubt you have brain damage. Antipsychotics are among the worst offenders when it comes to brain damage, and it seems you've managed to avoid those. Its scary...I always thought that tardive dyskinesia was the big problem with antipsychotics/tranquilizers. I was wrong. TD is just the tip of the iceberg.

I blame the bipolar for the Swiss cheese my brain has become.

I agree 100% my brain feels numb and I'm going to have a serious talk with my pdoc about tapering off meds and giving me something different besides seroquel for sleep
