I am on 20mg. I am stepping down 5mg a week. How did others taper off of this drug?

5 mg per week is a 25% taper. Some who are cautious say only do 10% per week, but that turns into some pretty tricky pill cutting. If it's working for you then go for it. Good luck with your taper

I cut back 10 at a time but I was transitioning on to something else.

I did 25 percent per 3 weeks. 20 mg - 15 mg - 10 mg - 7.5 mg - 5 mg - 2.5 mg - quit. Around the 7.5 mg I started on Clozapine.

I didn't taper off but I went from 10mg to 5mg without issue.
