hi. gabapentin has been generic for a while. i don't know your insurance situation, but i my prescriptions are so low priced ((for the gabapentin...)) that sometimes the pharmacy has me pay cash instead of the copay.

i am prescribed 100mgs capsules. i rarely need sleeping pills. when i do, i take 3 capsules and chill out, im usually asleep within an hour, wake up w/ minimal hang over. not a miracle pill, but i tolerate it well and it gets the job done.

i do not know if 100mgs would be enough for you. individuals vary. my prescription comes in at less than $5, just paying out of pocket. dosages vary wildly...some people take 1800+ mgs/day.
