Okay, according to those in the know Paxam (aka Klonolpin) ran out so the pharmacy changed it to Rivotril. Same med same effect...... Not so much me thinks. My panic attacks (which weren't so bad) are worse.
Does anybody else here find that their bodies will react to substitutes?? A few years ago I was on another benzo (same same) that was changed from Kalma to Xanax. When this med was changed from generic to a brand I found that I couldn't stop the tears. So over all this stuff. |

hi. this happens. it can be...rough. never been a problem for me, but the way society in general treats "mental patients" (-especially- the doctors, shrinks included), and then this happens, and...ugh.
never been thru it, but ive seen it in other peoples' lives. i do not have much in the way of advice or anything, just...i do hope it gets better for you. |

I'm quite sensitive to stuff like that. I am on Xanax and I found just one generic that works the same and one that is even better! The rest are worse. I avoid some brands that I know will not have a good effect on me.

Thanks for the feed back Still crazy and -jimi-.
It is odd to how our systems can be so sensitive to what others would think of as something minor. My body tolerated the generic much better on the Kalma (generic). Even struggling with the lowest dose of Lovan. GRrrrrr Can't increase that because it makes me fall over. I found some old Paxam (Klonolipin) and took them instead since I last posted. Have to say I feel much less stressed. Going to contact the pharmacy tomorrow and ask them not to change it to the Rivotril when they make up the packs next time. |

Funny, I tend to try and go for the brand-named things. Of course, if there is no other choice, I will take generics.
So far, I have found the particular generic and brand equivalents I have used to be fairly similar in effect. __________________ Tic-Tac |
