I take my morning meds that are supposed to be taken at 8 as early as 2AM. If I go to sleep after I take them I can control my hunger. If I take them without going back to sleep, I eat a ton.
I take my night meds at 6PM. These last couple of days I’ve been taking them at 2AM and then 6:30-7:00. I’ve been feeling really sick. Is this because I went too long without meds? Or is it something else? |

It could be, depending on their half life. I suggest you ask a pharmacist. I know vomiting is a common withdrawal symptom for me.

Thanks. It happened last night too.
I took my morning meds at 5AM and it’s 5:30 at night here. I feel pretty sick. But I had a dream about the children’s hospital and whenever I have a dream or hear about the children’s hospital I feel physically sick and I start to have physical symptoms of various diseases. But it’s just in my mind. I’m not really sick. So I guess I just chalk it up to nerves. Last edited by Mountaindewed; Oct 26, 2017 at 05:44 PM. |

Yep physical symptoms started.
It would be really bad if I did get sick. I don’t have a secondary insurance anymore. So I have to pay 20% of my bills. My therapist and doctors aren’t bad. But I’m going to have to start paying $84 a month for my prescriptions and then the insurance itself is $105 a month. Being currently unemployed is not helping. All these expenses are doable, but if I ended up in the hospital and I had a $100,000 bill (is that possible?) I’d have to pay $20,000. And I won’t even have that sort of Money 5 years from now even with a job. Im starting to think this was a bad idea getting rid of the other insurance. So ending up in the hospital would be pretty bad. |

Yes, discontinuation syndrome can kick in as early as 8 hours depending on the medication (withdrawal if it's a controlled substance).
