Anybody else on Fluanxol (flupentixol) ?
I feel like I am the only one on this drug.

For those who aren't familiar with it: (an excerpt from the package insert)

"Fluanxol contains flupentixol which is a low dose neuroleptic of the thioxanthene group."
"In low doses (up to 3 mg/day) Fluanxol has an anxiolytic, antidepressive and mood stabilizing effect and certain activating properties."

It is indicated for "mild to moderate depression with or without anxiety". It is also (according to the internet) used for the treatment of schizophrenia. (it comes in a depot version for injecting)

From what I can tell, it is not that widely used. I am surprised that my relatively young psychiatrist even knows about it.
