Other than that I have no reason.
I started just 2 weeks ago, and am becoming very stressed due to many other factors.
I got Clonex and Cipralex and I'm not taking them.
Why should I take them if it's because of studying, when I can just drop out and not have to deal with so much stress? It's also social stress.

Why should I risk my health just so I can be better? The psych doc does not help with those fears at all. He's only using my fears of meds to justify taking them, rather than answer the fears so they can be eased.

I don't want to risk myself, I am done. Those kind of meds cause me existential crises. Why should I take them when all it takes is being away from my family and environment forever, where I won't be held like a baby because my parents gave me and my brothers to this world for company of their own?

If they ease some anxiety is it so bad?
Sometimes you need that boost.
The choice is yours.
School is hard and stressful yes but find a way to enjoy it.

I can relate to you on this, I started college this fall semester, and that triggered my anxiety which in turn triggered a psychotic depression episode. I have the same feeling like "why should school be more important than my mental health?"

I do think you should take the medicine, I've been working with health services at my school to figure out which medication combination will work for me and it definitely is a struggle to continue balancing school and my mental health. However I am looking forward to the day when they figure out my medicine and I can get better.

I totally agree. I understand why, as I am approaching my time of starting university.

I will only take meds that:
1) Keep me leveled out
2) Maintain my focus for studying

That is it.
