I honestly didn't think Paxil was helping because it seemed to counteract with caffeine ( which I like) and I kinda figured I'd go back on Prozac I mean I didn't like it because of the side effects being tired and dry mouth but again I figured what the heck I'll go back on it I'll deal with it I need my caffeine. My Therapist said nope you need to stay on it and actually caffeine is bad for you ( this isn't the first time I heard this) My last therapist told me caffeine is terrible I need you quit it!! Do all therapists hate caffeine? The funny part is my therapist was had a McDonald's mccafe coffee on the desk. Honestly??

I've never had a medical professional say anything to me about caffeine, but I drink coffee in moderation.

I must have weird therapists:/ When I was teenager I would tell my therapist how I loved Mountain Dew and he told me how terrible it was and shouldn't drink it but naturally I drank it anyways. Today I happen to bring up the medication situation and my therapist said no honestly you shouldn't drink that anyways because of your anxiety which I get to a degree but I've been drinking Mountain Dew Coke ever since I was a teenager but Paxil somehow made me have interactions with caffeine but I guess I'll just have to deal with it.
