Been experiencing sudden hairfall after i started my psych meds. I've read somewhere in the past that Topomax can do that. Any one else experience something like that? How did you deal with it? i'm thinking about stopping it. p.s im also on other meds abilify and escitaloporam. Any information you can share is appreciated.

I have the same experience with citalopram, which is a generic. It is the worst and my hair is so tangley. My family doc just took me off of it , it is an antidepressant.

I have never had a psychotic experience, though, by petition they have diagnosed.

Centrum silver can help with hair loss. So can a shampoo/conditioner called Nioxin. I've used both in the past successfully.

Lamictal had my hair thinning out for a the first few months then it all came back in.

I hear many complain about Topomax doing the same .
