Just off the top of my head and without searching the net...

Klonopin is used to treat anxiety, and Seroquil and Lithium can be used to treat Bipolar symptoms. The last two are used for other types of depression also, but I'm not sure which without looking them up.

Lithium is a great "mood stabilizer"
But can cause weight gain problems, but it is still better than having "mood swings" While taking it, one has to have periodic blood level tests done (no big deal) just to be assured that the level of lithium in your system is therepeutic or possibly toxic, after the first 2 tests then the the intervals of tests are spread out further apart, again (no big deal) Take my word, if a person is Bipolar, Lithium is a great medicine of choice, if it doesn't seem effective then the next in line would probably be Depakote, Lamictal, etc., now also remember these are also sometimes are given in combination with Lithium, I am presently taking Lamictal and Lithium, after other combos, this has been the best Always remember everyone is different, so medications may or may not work the same so it is up to trying them under your doc's supervision and seeing what works the best for you.
Good luck,
"darkeyes"

It could be, but if she is forced "vomiting" (bulimic?) then taking Lithium and doing so can become toxic, but that can also depend on what dosage she is on. Is this person a friend or relative that you are close with?? I know it is none of my business but if there are some things about her behaviour you'd wish to share with us we may be able to share some of our experiences with some of the other meds. we have been on or are on now that may be of some benefit to that person.

shes actually someone i am just trying to get out of my life, my post "need to get away" in the general discussion section of the forum will explain that... but...no im not extremely close with her, i guess it was just my curiousity. I know for a fact that shes anorexic and bulimic, but i dont know what else is wrong with her, i think she may be bi-polar, but im not sure. I really dont know with that girl, shes a consistent liar...so its hard to tell.

Whatever her mental disorder may be, it doesn't do you or her for you to know what meds she is taking if you no longer wish to be her friend. If she has been abusive to you for some time and refuses to work at your relation with her, then I'suggest you "move on". It is admirable to try to help a friend with a disorder but if that person continues to be abusive, etc, then there just be a time you have to step aside, and decide to move on.
