Hello.
What is the best medication that you ever had / have now?
About me personally, of all I tried, I love Olanzapine the most since it is cheap & works even though it gives me pain in my back and some depression.
Thanks for this!

Invega was amazing for me until I developed tardive diskinesia and had to get off it. I'm still on some other meds. My favorite one is clonidine, a blood pressure med thats sometimes used for anxiety and makes it almost impossible for me to have a panic attack

The most efficient drug that quickly does what it's supposed to do is Xanax. But not counting that it was Abilify that brought me down enough from a prolonged and extreme mania episode to realize what was going on and to get hospitalized. The Latuda I take now though works very well with only one side effect that is controlled by another drug I take. It's my current "favorite".

Zoloft is my wonder drug. Its a nightmare on me physically, but mentally I have never felt better. Hopefully I'll learn to manage the side effects because I don't want to try anything else.

Latuda....no cognitive side effects and I've been stable 5 years and counting

For me it was Depakote but eventually I had to go off it due to side effects.

Clozapine, definitely.

Had to quit in November when I developed agranulocytosis. I had been on it for just short of 2 years.

For me it is Seroquel. Many people hate this drug because it completely knocks them out, but I am loving it and it is working great. It also may help that I am on a very small dose.

Effexor XR was the best I had until it pooped out 4 months later. I haven’t felt good in a long time until I got on Effexor XR.

Very interesting question.

Mine was probably Zoloft, which I do not even take anymore.

The best medication that worked well was Zyprexa but it caused too much weight gain. The next best has been Abilify. I'm taking it currently and am doing well.

Hmm, it's a tie between my risperdal and seroquel. I only take seroquel PRN for insomnia but it does the trick every time. Risperdal helps mellow me out when I'm feeling too amped up.

Citalopram has been a wonder drug for my anxiety and I get minimal side effects from it. Keeps my anxiety largely under control and at manageable levels.

Klonopin. It helps that I can physically feel my anxiety decrease on it.

After that would be the Rexulti. It seems to help keep my depression pretty well at Bay.

Valium I stole from my mother when I was seventeen (obviously I had major anxiety issues). Amazing.

Klonopin, some SSRI's, and I have my fingers crossed for Lamictal.

Rexulti. Lifted a very serious depression in 3-4 days. Colors were suddenly brighter and I could move. No and very few side effects except for anxiety when they put me on too large of a dose. I do best on 1.0.
I am on Medicare and it is super expensive with the donut hole problem. But we beg doctors for it and that usually works pretty well.

Lexapro worked awesome (5mg) for eight years. Pooped out and I haven't found anything as good since. Xanax and/or Ativan as needed provide good anxiety relief
