From what i've read it does appears to be, but it'd help to hear from someone who has had firsthand experience.

I only took it for anxiety attacks and briefly as an adjunct with Seroquel for sleep during mania. It seemed to make me have to poo much much more for some reason. It also seemed to send me depressive side of things, horribly so, no matter where I was in my mood cycles. Most people do great with it.
Thanks for this!

It's similar to benadryl being they are both antihistamines. It should be weight neutral.

It was weight neutral for me. But it made me really hungry for 3 days.

No added weight. But also I ate less because I was so drugged so less caloric intake but also I didn't move much, like if I had ran I would have had fallen. I acted SO DRUGGED on it people thought I was on some illegal crap. Sigh.

But some people seem to do great on it.

They used to give it to me in the hospital. Never did a thing for me.
