Has anyone tried ketamine treatments? My pdoc has mentioned them a few times. The problem is that it isn't covered by insurance. Here is it between $350-$495 per treatment and they say 6 treatments then booster treatments every so often.

Yes,I just finished yesterday and have had an excellent outcome. I’m willing to do a booster here and there, if needed. It’s helped me so much and I was wary at first.

I take ketamine intranasally: I get it from a compounding pharmacy. It costs $65 for a month. It is so, so, so, so worth the $65. The problem is finding a pdoc who will prescribe it-the ketamine clinics are happy to prescribe their treatment because they make a bucket of money.
The stuff is amazing! |

I took it intranasally for 2 weeks and when I came down from it every day I was suicidal. I craved more.

Now they are using Ketamine anesthesia with ECT. Don't think I could handle that.
