Hey All...been postin a lot the last few weeks to revive some reassurance I’m not going Crazy or the only one feeling what I do. That being said....

I’m on day 12 of my switch from Paxil to Prozac. I did a straight switch and the initial terribleness is gone but I’ve had a few random side effects.

I swear I’ll catch something flashing by in my Peripherals and I’ll glance and nothing’s there. It’s not like I’m hallucinating I don’t think but it’s just frustrating. I know some odd things can happen when starting an SSRI and especially during a switch. I just don’t remember this last time I was on Prozac.

My anxitey is still present...but I’m functioning. Still afraid I’m going to all of a sudden just turn crazy but I think that’s my anxiety.

Any words of wisdom or thoughts would be appreciated.

I think I’m going to find a pdoc in addition to my GP just for another opinion or ideas. Has anyone had more luck with either?

I've had a very similar symptom when under a lot of stress, without Prozac.
It cleared up once my status cleared from excessive stress, in my case.

Between a pdoc and a GP, I have found a pdoc more helpful with discerning symptoms, side-effects, etc.

It is possible Prozac is exacerbating your anxiety.

I have a specialist who says anyone can experience any side-effect from any medicine at any time.
