I've been taking 75mg of Zoloft for a year and a half, and I have practically no sex drive at all. I don't even enjoy "fooling around" or kissing anymore, I'm never in the mood and always just feel uncomfortable. My boyfriend of 6 years is very understanding, but it is causing a strain on our relationship and it makes me feel horribly about myself. I just want to know if anyone else has had a similar experience and maybe have an idea how to combat this? I have been taking Nortrel oral birth control for about 5 and a half years which lowered my sex drive a bit around 2 years after starting but lately its been worse.

Thanks,
Moemind

Yeah this happened to me as well. It didn’t return either after going off it. That was 3 years ago. My therapist confirmed that this can happen with Zoloft.

I’ve been having some weird thoughts though today. I think it may be related to my birth control since these thoughts started as soon as I started a new generic.
Thanks for this!
