A while back I posted a message about a free new website dedicated to those taking Effexor.

www.venlafacts.org

It's gotten off the ground but we'd really like to attract more traffic. It's a free resource (without advertising) so please check it out.

We'd really appreciate feedback about the site and how we can make it better. If you checked it out but didn't register, please let me know why not. Could you also let me know here if the concept just doesn't interest you (and why not?) or if you checked it out but something turned you off? Any information you can give us on how this site could be improved would be very welcomed!

Thank you.

C40

I have been to the website and found it to be very informative and supportive for those of us on effexor.

Good luck with the site.

I looked through the site and thought it looked good but had a problem with the membership form. The stuff about all applications being reviewed by an administrator was printing over the fields where you'd enter the information and the form wouldn't let me click in any field to enter info.

Thank you so much. That's exactly the kind of information we need to know. Do you by any chance have a fairly old version of Windows?

P.S. I like your quote from the hymn.

Clipper,

i'm running Windows XP media edition, and my computer's only a year old, so that shouldn't be the problem.

thanks.

You're right. Doesn't sound like a computer problem. Sounds like OUR problem. We'll have to figure out what went wrong and get back to you.

Thanks.

I wanted to get back to you on the issue of registering at Venlafacts.org. We're still not sure what the problem is. One person who wasn't able to register was using Internet Explorer 9. He downloaded Mozilla Firefox2 (free browser) and was able to register by accessing the site that way. That led us to believe that it had something to do with the browser. However, others with Internet Explorer 9 have been able to register without any problem. The only thing I can suggest at this point is that you try downloading Firefox. (You can still use Explorer for everything else.)

I'm sorry for the trouble but hope that this won't stop you from registering.

Thanks for the info, I was able to register with firefox, but fyi, to my knowledge, unless there is a beta floating around, IE 7 is the newest one out there.

Oops, thanks for clarifying that for me. I hadn't heard of anything past 7 either but the info I was given said 9 on it so I figured there were further enhancements that I didn't know about. I should have checked into it further.

Glad you were able to register!
