My pdoc gave me haldo .5 mg to take when I am getting manic to "shut my head off" It has worked well in the past. I have had to take it more and more in the last month. Can haldol have a rebound effect?

Twirls, ask your PDoc if the amount you're taking could have that effect on you. Haldol has some not nice side effects so I'd let your doc know how much you're taking and how often, etc. and make sure it's still the best solution to your mania problem.
