I did some switching around with SNRIs and eventually switched to zoloft. It has probably helped more with my anxiety than the SNRIs but I have no enjoyment in anything at all!!! I have completely stopped doing anything for fun.. my life has become a neverending chore.

I wanted to come off meds completely but ended up with daily panic attacks so was put back on in the hospital. I'm so tired of all the messing around.

The last time I spoke to my doctor she literally told me that I have to be stronger than my mind. So frustrating to hear when I struggle with very physical symptoms.
I'm just sad at this point

I totally understand. My doctor added Zoloft to my meds which totally helps with my anxiety but after I am on my prescribed dose for a while, I lose motivation (but sleep great) and can't climax very easily so I decrease or stop taking it then my motivation and sex life comes back then eventually my anxiety does to the point that I can't sleep/get too reactionary towards my son and H. Then I go back on wanting to get my life back under control. I have simply decided to use when I must. I hope they invent something better. Perhaps if we had never gone on Psych drugs in the first place we wouldn't be in such a struggle.....

I do think that having the "right" amount of anxiety helps keep us motivated enabling us to accomplish more. Maybe try taking less when you are not motivated but enough to stop the crippling anxiety?

Perhaps you can try a as needed med specifically for anxiety. Zoloft is not a med to be taken here or there. You are doing harm to your brain that way.
