This is more just a story than a question.

I had tried Abilify as a mood stabilizer for bipolar. I started on 5 mg and would have worked my way up to 15 mg. Little did I know, it would cause extreme akathisia that was so unbearable that I would have been better off without the medication.

I was thankfully able t get hold of my doctor and was instructed to stop the Abilify immediately and go on Seroquel again (hopefully temporarily) until we can sort something out next time I see her.

I had experienced akathisia on other meds before, but never quite as bad as that. I now understand and can empathize with those who experience it.

yeah. imagine the people injected with haldol and restrained in the emergency room. they could just use ketamine.
