Has anyone here who's been on Latuda gotten anxiety or worsened anxiety from it? Did that side effect go away after a while for you or does it tend to keep going?
This med seems like it might be really good for me except for this anxiety, which is awful. |

I find that Latuda is very dose dependent. I take i think...20mg? and when i was having trouble my doc said to double it. Well that night I felt so much anxiety and had like..totally irrational thoughts and fears and couldnt sleep so I went back down to the original dose.

I was on Latuda 3 years ago, for one full year. The psych nurse was so kind and well-intentioned by prescribing it for me, and the Latuda helped lift my depression some (I was in a really bad place when I saw her). That said, my anxiety was off the hook. Now, it had been really bad prior to Latuda, but it was as bad, or worse, on the Latuda. I wish I could recall the dosage, but I can't.
At the one year mark I developed a jaw tremor that was not a good thing, so my pdoc stopped the Latuda. __________________ |

So I was prescribed propranolol at the same time I started latuda and anxiety was never a problem. But I've been on latuda now for years and gone down on my dose of propranolol so anxiety has gotten less.

That is so good. I had forgotten about propanolol. A long time ago I had a GP, he was really sweet. I went into his office one day an absolute mess of anxiety. He prescribed propanolol and it actually gave me some relief. __________________ |
