Hi all.
I have been on lithium before, but am taking 1000 mg for the very first time. Previously, I had only gone up to 800 mg. Has anybody experienced drowsiness on lithium, particularly the higher dosages? If so, does the drowsiness pass over time? Honestly, it is not the worst. I have taken a handful of medications that caused drowsiness I could not even call "drowsiness" because it is more a zombified state. Thanks.

When I was on lithium last, I went into toxicity, and one of my symptoms was extreme drowsiness. I was sleeping 20 hrs a day. The doctor actually took me off of it because of that episode.
