I have been trying to remember what this doctor gave me last year. I took this at night for sleep and SamE in the morning, versus the standard psych druge which I get aome bad side effects from. They really helped, but this 5HTP from what I can remember made me really sleepy, a scary kind of feeling.

Has anyone ever tried this 5HTP?
Did it help?
Side effects?

I've tried 5 HTP, I find it gives me the weirdest dreams, worse than the ones I used to get on Efexor! I feel like i'm in the dream and what not.

It can be beneficial though and is worth giving a shot, just don't mix it with other anti depressants.

Only other side effects I got would be a bit agitated after having it for a week straight, I don't think its that good having it every day, but depends on your situation etc.

Good luck!
